#4808 Remington No.1 “Smoot” revolver, 30RF. These high quality pocket size revolvers were made between 1873 and 1888 and were serious competitors to the New Line series 30cal Colt and also Smith & Wessons No.1-1/2. This specimen has about 95% original nickel finish on all of the gun except the cylinder, which has about 20%. The hard rubber grips are near perfect and the action is tight and crisp. For the advanced Remington collector, this is a nice variation of this 1870s pocket revolver. About Ex.Fine $595
