#4921 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB 44WCF, 28XXX (1879), scarce 1st Variation

Description

#4921 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB 44WCF, 28XXX (1879), scarce 1st Variation with 2nd Model style receiver having the externally pinned trigger but having the mortised thumbprint dustcover. Smooth tight action, G-VG bore, about a 6+ on a scale of 10; deep rifling with no serious pitting but just dirty grooves. Should clean to at least a 7-1/2 with some diligent cleaning and looks like it will be a good shooter (after a safety check, of course). Smooth mottled brown patina with some wear to the barrel edges and somewhat weak (but readable) markings. Good wood except it does have a sizable sliver at the forearm cap on the right side. Correct sights, lever latch, etc. VG as described. $2750

Price: $2,750.00
