Description

#4964 Colt S/A 7-1/2”x45COLT, 97XXX range (1883), VG bore (about a 6+ to 7 on a scale of 10) and VG action. The metal is decent for its age and about average for what is otherwise basically a “no-finish” gun with some scattered staining, light roughness, and minor pitting. Originally this was a full factory nickel finished revolver, but it is now basically a neutral grey patina with only FAINT traces here and there. The original wood grips show quite a bit of wear as well and have toe chips on both sides. However, it has a lot of charisma and the overall look is what one usually wants to see on an old cowboy Colt that was well used but not abused.
