#3813 W.W. Marston 3”x31caliber Pepperbox, agent marked only with “Rick Smith, London”

Description

#3813 W.W. Marston 3”x31caliber Pepperbox, agent marked only with “Rick Smith, London” markings on the bar-hammer top and without the Marston markings. Condition is WELL above average with good traces of thinning blue, fine metal and grips. Pepperboxes with agent names are more highly collected than the same gun without such markings, and this is a scarce agent and overseas address. I do not see any British proofs, so it would seem that while it was marked, it may never have been shipped to London at all, but sold domestically. Relatively scarce full fluted barrel with no ribs. Very near “Fine” condition overall; a NICE pepperbox! $950

Price: $950.00
