#4940 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB, 44WCF with VG bore

#4940 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB, 44WCF with VG bore (about a 7 on a scale of 10, having some medium wear and light scale, but still looking like it would spin a bullet quite well) and has a smooth tight action. Serial numbered in the 166XXX range (1883). The exterior of this rifle has a very smooth greyish patina with some good traces of plum-blue around the sideplates and protected areas and the metal overall is otherwise crisp-edged and devoid of any serious damage or blemishes. The buttstock and forearm are well above average with no serious chips or slivers, about VG+ overall. Standard semi-buckhorn rear sight and standard “pinched blade front sight. Nothing rare or wonderful, but this is just a decent and WELL above average original 134 year old Winnie in better-than-average condition. About VG+ as described. $2595

Price: $2,595.00
