I recently bought a Springfield Trapdoor 45/70 from Tom and the rifle was even better than the description,this was my first buy from Tom but it will not be my last.
The shipping and communication was top notch.

I purchased a Colt 1860 Army from Tom about three weeks ago. I did a LOT of research on the pistol and on different options for purchasing an original. Found a pistol in the right price range on Antique Gun List where Tom had it listed. I called Tom about the gun. He was professional and friendly, and I was amazed at his knowledge of the gun we discussed. The thing that most impressed me about Tom, however, was not only his fund of knowledge about guns, but his graciousness and willingness to help me in any way possible with the right purchase (whether if was from him or not!). I work in a field where I am paid to analyze people on a daily basis; I knew after a short time that I was going to do business with Tom. He earned my respect and trust, which is what made the deal. In a perfect world all merchants would be as honest and helpful as Tom!
He gave advice based on what I wanted not monetary gain. His knowledge of antique firearms is extensive. I received my antique in as good or better shape than he described. I am from Canada and he accommodated my export needs as a professional!
